Maitland Baptist Church runs a Family Camp each year that is enjoyed by church members and their friends. The camps are designed to be intergenerational and those who attend particularly love the time spent with new friends that they might otherwise not have the opportunity to meet in our normal home church setting.

Every year approximately 80 people head to Gloucester for some fun including kayaking, bushwalking, bike-riding, coffee trips at local cafes, sport games and of course lots of chatting by the campfire. We have regularly had baptisms in the river and always have an outdoor Easter Service on Easter Sunday.

We often go away for another weekend at different locations in Oct/Nov. Places we have been include Soldiers Point, Lemon Tree Passage & Budgewoi.
